CALUMET — The Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues are officially in town.

Both teams arrived Thursday morning to raucous fanfare outside the 106-year-old Calumet Colosseum. Players signed autographs and took pictures with fans before hitting the ice for teams’ respective gameday practices.

Mitch Reinke, who played college hockey at Michigan Tech, suited up for the Blues’ practice wearing No. 39. Troy Loggins, who starred at Northern Michigan, suited up for the Red Wings and wore No. 75.
