PAINESDALE — The Baraga Vikings proved to be no contest for the Jeffers Jets on Thursday night as the Jets outscored them by 43 points.
The Jets scored 21 points in the first quarter to take 12-point advantage into the first break. They kept that pressure on the second, scoring another 24 points to carry a 45-19 lead into the half.
Jeffers’ Christian Hocking was the man of the hour as he poured in 29 of his team’s 65 points. His total included three 3-pointers.
The Jets continued to score at will, putting up 17 points to just four by the Vikings.
For the Vikings, Steel Jondreau scored 17.
