EBEN JUNCTION — Lake Linden-Hubbell built a large halftime lead and cruised to a 44-14 win against Superior Central on Saturday.

The Lakes (2-0) were led by Caleb Klein’s 93 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Bode Brinkman led the Lakes with 113 yards on 14 carries.

Brandon Lavigne threw 3 for 3 for 88 yards and a touchdown to Will Lyons. Lyons’ touchdown reception was a 47-yard completion.

The Lakes’ defense held Superior Central quarterback Kyle Frusti to 8 for 32 passing for 71 yards and a touchdown with four interceptions. Lyons had an interception return for touchdown. He also had three tackles for loss. Lavigne, Luke Marcotte and Mason Codere also had interceptions. Randy Roberts led with five tackles.
