HOUGHTON — The team of Paul Sintkowski (Hancock) and Tony Bilich (Madison) won the 2021 Portage Lake BestBall golf tournament over Memorial Day weekend. They earned the win by shooting an opening round three under par in tough conditions and then shot four under par on the final day to win by one stroke.

The duo posted a seven under par 137 two day total. This was one stroke better than 2nd place team Casey Bjorne (Ishpeming) and Mark Clements (Negaunee). This was the 6th BestBall title for Sintkowski and Bilich since 2010.
