The Lac La Belle Walleye fishing tournament is back.

The tournament begins at 6 a.m. Saturday and lasts until 3 p.m. Registration lasts from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today. Registration continues at 5:20 a.m. Saturday until 5:50 a.m.

Entry fee is $100 per boat with optional $20 side pot for biggest fish by weight. Boats are allowed one to four people. Each boat will choose its five biggest fish to weigh.

Half of the entry fees will be awarded to the first place, while 35% will be awarded to second place, and 15% for third place.

There will be a 6 a.m. shotgun start for the tournament. The weigh station opens at 11 a.m. Catch and release is optional and competitors must return to the launch area by 3 p.m.
