Calumet’s Croze named West PAC Coach of the Year

Local players were named among All-West PAC selections.

In the Copper Division, John Croze, of Calumet, was named Coach of the Year. Westwood’s Zach Carlson was named Offensive Player of the Year.

The Defensive Player of the Year award went to Lenny Bjorn, of Calumet. Linbacker of the Year was Gavin Dawson of Westwood. Special teams honors went to Phil Nelson, of Neguanee.

Honorable mention awards went to Dryden Nelson, of Calumet, on offense. Chance Bridgers, of Hancock, earned honorable mention honors as a defensive lineman.

In the Iron Division, Al Stenberg, of Bark River-Harris, was named Coach of the Year. The Offensive Player of the Year honors went to Trevor Lippens, of Bark River-Harris. Special Teams Player of the Year was awarded to Hunter Smith, of Ishpeming.

On the defensive side, Dawson Delongchamp, of Ishpeming , was named Defensive Player of the Year. Honorable mention went to Corbin Lafave, of Bark River-Harris. Charlie Guenette, of Bark River-Harris was named Lineman of the Year.
