IRON MOUNTAIN — Looking to build on a win Sunday, the Portage Lake Little League All-Stars/Designotype Printers battled Keweenaw Monday evening. Designotype came away with an 11-4 victory.

Ethan Lasanen earned the win on the mound for Designotype, pitching two scoreless innings. Bryce Keteri, Tyler Lesperance, and Lance Rautiola combined in relief, giving up the four runs in the process. 

At the plate, Designotype jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning thanks, in part, to singles from Dawson Rilei and Emmet Hainault.

In the second, Designotype exploded for six runs. Blake Helminen, Lasanen, Cal Johnson, Keteri, Damien Juopperi, Rilei, Rautiola and Roger Pietila all picked up singles to help drive in the runs.

Rilei and Lasanen led the offense with three and two hits, respectively.
