Huskies soccer unveils 2025 schedule

HOUGHTON — The Michigan Tech Huskies soccer team has unveiled its schedule for the 2025 season. The Black and Gold have an 18-game regular season slate with 14 GLIAC contests and 11 games to be played at Kearly Stadium.

Three opponents on the schedule competed in the NCAA Tournament a season ago.

Before the season begins, the soccer squad will compete in two scrimmages, playing host to Wisconsin-Stevens Point (Aug. 23) before traveling to Winona State (Aug. 29).

The Huskies open the season playing host to four non-conference opponents on Sep. 5 and Sep. 7 being Parents Weekend against NSIC foes Minnesota-Duluth and St. Cloud State. The Black and Gold then welcome GMAC affiliates the following weekend, facing Cedarville (Sep. 11) and Northwood (Sep. 13).

Conference play begins on the road as Michigan Tech treks to Parkside (Sep. 19) and Roosevelt (Sep. 21) before a four-game homestand at Kearly Stadium. The Huskies welcome Davenport (Sep. 26) and Grand Valley State (Sep. 28) to close out September. Saginaw Valley State (Oct. 3) and Ferris State (Oct. 5) will make the trek to the U.P. the following weekend. 

The Huskies conclude the first half of conference play at Northern Michigan on Oct. 12, before starting a four-game road trip, traveling to Davenport (Oct. 17) and Saginaw Valley State (Oct. 19) before heading to Ferris State (Oct. 24) and Grand Valley State (Oct.26) the following weekend.

Michigan Tech wraps the regular season with three straight games at home, playing host to Parkside (Oct. 31) and Roosevelt for Senior Day (Nov. 2) before the finale and lone matchup against Purdue Northwest on Nov. 8.
