Jamie Angeli’s 2025 Basketball Camp of Champs returns this summer
IRON MOUNTAIN — Get ready, ballers of all ages and abilities. Jamie Angeli, renowned former basketball coach and player, and 2025 Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame inductee, is thrilled to announce the return of his Basketball Camp of Champs, set to take place this summer at Niagara High School and Iron Mountain Middle School.
This highly anticipated camp promises to elevate players’ skills, while fostering teamwork in a fun and engaging environment. The boys/girls grades 9-12 camp will be held at Iron Mountain Middle School on July 18 and 19 (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) 9 a.m. early drop off, Open Gym (optional) and July 20 (12-4 p.m.) 11 a.m. early drop off, Open Gym (optional). The boys/girls grades 3-8 camp will be held at Niagara High School from July 21-24, Boys Gr. 3-8 (10 a.m.-1 p.m.) 9 a.m. early drop off, Open Gym (optional), Girls Gr. 3-8 (2-5 p.m.) 1 p.m. early drop off, Open Gym (optional). Participants will receive a camp t-shirt, basketball, and personalized instruction from Angeli and a team of skilled coaches, focusing on essential skills to improve their overall game, confidence level, and attitude.
“Our goal since starting this camp in 1984 is to help players of all ages and ability levels to develop their skills while cultivating a love for the game,” said Angeli. “We are excited to return to the U.P. and Northeast Wisconsin and to partner with Niagara High School and Iron Mountain Middle School this summer to create an unforgettable basketball experience for every participant.”
In addition to on-court training, attendees will also be given the opportunity to win several awards for shooting, team championships and best attitudes. The camp concludes each week with the always popular Camp of Champs Highlight Video. Registration is now open. Interested participants are encouraged to secure their spot early, as space will become limited. Last summer’s camp attracted over 200 campers to Norway High School.
