L’ANSE — The Jeffers Jets softball team earned a pair of wins Friday over the L’Anse Purple Hornets. They won the opener 13-5, and followed that up with an 11-6 victory in the second game.

In the opening game, Elli Kuntze led the way by going 2-for-3 at the plate. She also did well in the pitcher’s circle, as she struck out six and allowed just three hits.

In the nightcap, Naomi Frahm picked up three hits, including a two-run double.

Janet Mattila earned the win with four strikeouts.
