MUNISING — Only two weeks remain to register for the Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame Golf tournament.

The four-person golf scramble will be held on Saturday, July 26, at the Pictured Rocks Golf Course in Munising.

The $320 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, dinner and cash prizes. Golf carts are available for rent at $30 each. 

The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. The tournament is limited to 36 teams, so get your registration in soon.

Hole sponsorships are also available to further support the work of the UPSHF. There are three tiers of support: Gold Sponsors are $500, Silver sponsors $250 and Hole Sponsors $100. 

This golf tournament is a fundraiser to support the work of the UPSHF, including providing four $1,000 scholarships annually to four graduating seniors from high schools across the U.P. 

The four scholarship award winners in 2025 were Munising’s own Kate Mattson, Cole Baij (Norway), Madelynn Kreider and Gavin Trevillian (Kingsford).
