Lorenzetti and Young finish at the top of Betty Kratt

TWIN LAKES — With a team score of 70, Kim Lorenzetti and Deb Young edged out the mother and daughter duo of Maren and Kaelyn Rouleau to win the 2nd Annual Betty Kratt Memorial women’s invitational golf tournament at Wyandotte Hills Golf Course in Twin Lakes on Thursday, June 19.
The tournament is named after Kratt, the former owner of the course, along with her husband Jack, was recognized for all the effort she put into making the golf club the best it could be, in supportive and generous ways during her time with the course from 1986-2016.
The Rouleaus shot 71. Also in the Championship Flight were Meg Lang and Bailey Raffaelli, who shot 73, and the team of Pam Frantti and Jeana Menzemer, who also shot 73.
First Flight was won by Katie Carlson and Sam Lajeunesse, who shot 75. Lynda Tamplin and Melody Naatz finished second with a 76.
In Second Flight, Kathy Penegor and Andrea Longhini tied with Crystal Haataja and Amber Klemmett as both teams shot 79.
The same thing happened in the Third Flight as the duo of Jane LeClaire and Pat Stark tied the team of Carrie Richards and Ronda Bogan, with both teams shooting 84.
The Fourth Flight was won by the team of Jill Butvilas and Marya Bailey, who shot 87. They beat out the team of Britini and Julie Osborne.
In the Fifth Flight, Cathy Ruonavaara and Susie Utzman beat out Cheryl Ruohonen and Judy Kirtland by a stroke with a 95.
