CHASSELL — Brayden Larson scored 16 to lead the Chassell Panthers boys, but it was not enough to overcome 25 points from Liam Tourtillott or 18 from Baron Colbert as the Dollar Bay-Tamarack City Blue Bolts earned a 70-25 win Tuesday at the Ed Helakoski Gym in Chassell.

Liam Tourtillott had two 3-pointers in the opening quarter, and Colbert added one of his own as the Blue Bolts jumped out to an 18-6 lead after eight minutes. Luke Tarvis hit a three for the Panthers in the frame.

In the second quarter, Liam Tourtillott hit another 3-pointer and Colbert had three baskets and a 3-pointer of his own as Dollar Bay scored a further 22 points. Larson had the only field goal for the Panthers, a 3-pointer, and Chassell trailed 40-9 at half.

In the third quarter, Liam Tourtillott hit another 3-pointer and scored two other baskets. Colbert, Noah Tourtillott and Tyler Jaehnig, who finished with 11 points, all had two baskets each as Dollar Bay scored 23 points. Larson had eight points for Chassell, who found themselves down 63-19 with eight minutes remaining.

Larson and Tanner Elenich each hit a 3-pointer for Chassell in the fourth, but the Blue Bolts scored a further seven points to reach the final score.
