Jets 62, Lakes 48

PAINESDALE — The Jeffers Jets girls earned a key win Tuesday with a 62-48 victory at home over the visiting Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes.

The Jets had four girls finish in double figures in scoring.

Isabelle Rajala, Karissa Rautiola, and Kylee Kangas all finished with 13 points each for Jeffers. Mia Nordstrom added 11.

Sentinels 55, Gremlins 40

MARQUETTE — Despite a double-double from Kate Filpus, the Houghton Gremlins girls fell to the Marquette Sentinels on the road Tuesday, 55-40.

Filpus had 13 points and 12 rebounds to lead Houghton.

Avery Osborn scored 25 to lead Marquette. Hayley Taylor chipped in 12.
