Houghton Gremlins center Jack Sayen scored four goals, tying an MHSAA record, in Houghton’s 5-2 win over Orchard Lake-St. Mary’s Saturday at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, which helped the Gremlins win their second state championship in school history and first since 1982. Friday, he had two assists a 4-0 win over Bay Reps in the state semifinals. He finished the playoffs with six goals and 10 points in five games. He was also named to the All-State Second Team. (A.M.
