KANSAS CITY, Mo. — For the second consecutive season, Michigan Tech Huskies senior guard Marcus Tomashek has been named an NABC All-American, as voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division II, the organization announced Tuesday.

Tomashek, a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, has delivered the best season of his career, leading the Huskies to a program-record-tying 29 wins and their first-ever Midwest Region Championship and a second-consecutive GLIAC regular season title. He surpassed 700 points in a season for the second straight year, with 734 points during the 2025-26 campaign, fourth-most in program history, just two shy of Austin Armga (2013-14) and nine behind Ali Haidar (2012-13).

Tomashek has earned numerous postseason honors, including First Team All-GLIAC, D2CCA All-Region First Team, and Midwest Region Tournament MVP recognition. He started all 34 games this season, averaging 21.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 39.3% from the field, 37.2% from three-point range, and 78.5% from the free-throw line.

He scored in double figures in 33 games, recording nine 20-point performances and eight games of 30 or more points, highlighted by a season-high 39 points against Lynn on Dec. 20. Tomashek now ranks second all-time in program history with 2,447 career points, fewer than 100 behind the Huskies’ all-time leading scorer, Kyle Monroe.

Tomashek dominates the NCAA Division II active career leaderboard, leading in total points (2,447), scoring average (19.9), three-point field goals made (344), field goal attempts (1,895), and three-point attempts (930). He also ranks fourth among active players in field goals made (782), free throws attempted (680), and free throws made (539).
