Lake Linden-Hubbell sophomore Payton Goldsworthy went 4-for-5 in the Lakes’ first-ever junior varsity game, a win over North Dickinson during the Spring Swing tournament in Marquette at the Superior Dome. She hit two home runs in the game. She struck out 16 and walked one in a win over Sault Ste. Marie at the varsity level. She also went 1-for-4 at the plate with two RBI. Against Charlevoix, she went 2-for-3 with two RBI in a win. She went 1-for-1 against Menominee with an RBI in the Lakes’ final game. She was named Spring Swing Home Run Queen as well. (Photo provided)
