Kilpela struck out, but she made it to first safely due to a dropped third strike, and suddenly the bases were loaded. In the third, Chynoweth got to first on a one-out single to right field. Larson then singled. Two batters later, Biekkola hit an inside-the-park three-run home run, scoring Chynoweth and Larson. Hancock led 11-1 after the inning ended.
