NEENAH — For the fourth straight year, Shottle Bop won the Guts Frisbee Wisconsin Tournament this past weekend at O’Hauser Park. They finished at the top of a field of 19 teams with 100 players, and they did it with a victory over Monte Carlo.

Shottle Bop, which is made up of William Blau, Ron Blau, Stephen Dudenas, Kyle Suvanto, Carter Nettell, Alex Nettell and Gabe Coppo, needed just two games to seal the tournament win over their rivals. William Blau was named the tournament’s most valuable player as well.

Monte Carlo’s roster included Tyler Turcott, Elijah Leece, Tyler Brunet, Hans Stimac, Jordan Manninen, Scott Stokley, Jacob Norkol, and Rudy Tikkanen.

The two teams are made up lifelong friends, which makes any win over the other that much more special for both squads.

Up next

The next tournament on the horizon for both squads is the International Frisbee Tournament the weekend of July 11 and 12 at the Hancock Driving Park.

Starting at $4.00/week.
