LAKE LINDEN — Lois Kump, 86, of Canal View-Houghton County, former resident of Lake Linden, went to Heaven on October 19, 2024.

She was born in Fulton, Keweenaw County, on November 21, 1937, a daughter of Lawrence and Lempi (Koivu) Ojala. She was raised in Dover Location. She attended local schools and graduated from Dollar Bay in 1955.

She was a lifelong resident of the Copper Country. She worked at the Calumet First National Bank as a loan officer.

Lois was married to Earl “Dilly” Kump on August 5, 1961. He passed away on August 8, 2015.

Lois was a faithful member of the Harvest Church of Laurium. She loved to go on walks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother-Gary Ojala.

She is survived by: two sisters-Doris Koory and Marcia Taylor, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and guardian-Annette Brouillette.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Reverend Jared Howard to officiate.
