HOUGHTON — A sure sign of the Holiday season is the Daily Mining Gazette’s Craft and Vender Show. This year’s event takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Copper Country Mall.

Yvonne Robillard, Gazette General Manager/Advertising Director said this year’s show features 50 vendors offering homemade items ranging from baked goods and condiments to apparel and decorative crafts. “This is a great opportunity for people to finish up their Christmas Shopping … or to get started. Regardless of the weather, conditions are sure to be perfect inside the mall, with the opportunity to pick up some one-of-a-kind products. “Everybody loves to give and to receive hand crafted gifts,” Robillard said. “Whether it’s hand-crafted soap, ornaments, unique kitchen products or more, there will be plenty of unique gifts at the show.”
