Take a ride on the gas train at the Houghton County Historical Museum in Lake Linden every Wednesday through September from noon until 4 p.m. Tickets are available at the museum – Adults $6; Students $4; 3-5 years old $3; under 3, free

• Summer Slam Concert, 7 – 9 p.m. Houghton downtown pier. Tonight’s music is by Bling Crosby.

• Calumet Theatre Concert, 7:30. The Calumet Theatre’s Summer Concert Series presents rockin’ country with Chad Borgen and the Collective. There is no charge, but donations to the performers will be appreciated.
