Former teachers help teachers with care packages

This week’s bouquets go to: Two local teachers received boxes of school supplies and tokens of appreciation recently from other former teachers. Emily Lightfoot and Michelle Carne received the boxes of supplies and gifts donated from members of the Delta Kappa Gamma, Beta Sigma chapter. Beta Sigma chapter includes members from Dickinson, Delta and Menominee counties as well as from the Oconto area. Members have been distributing Colleague Care Packages to schools in the region. New Omicron variant worth keeping a close eye on

Is there an end to COVID-19? Not anytime soon, it appears. Omicron, a new variant of the coronavirus, has made its appearance. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which knows a thing or two about pandemics, announced that the World Health Organization has classified the variant as a variant of concern.
