CHASSELL — Robert Mattson, 81, a resident of Chassell, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Omega House in Houghton following a lengthy illness.

A celebration of Robert’s life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests that memorial donations made in Robert’s name be given to the Carity of one’s choice or a family in need.
