• The Buellwood Weavers and Fiber Arts Guild monthly meeting will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, April 19th at the Finnish-American Folk School, room 105 of Skyline Commons in Hancock. All fiber artists are welcome. Bring your show-and-tell projects. Park and enter at the lower entrance around the back of the building. • “Memory Loss/Dementia Caregiver Support Group” 6 p.m. Canal View Hancock. It takes a lot to care for a loved one. This monthly group is safe place for those caring for loved ones of those suffering from memory loss or dementia. These monthly meetings are open to the public.
April 16
•The Upper Peninsula Environmental Coalition, invites you to UPEC’s 16th annual celebration of Earth’s freshwater heartland, Celebrate the UP 2025! From 10am to 4pm this Saturday, April 5th, at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette. Come hear talks like UP Community action, climate, poetry, Enviro Jeopardy game, a new birding trail, and local music for a day of fun talks about great things in the UP that is free and open to all!

•”Omega House’s Grief Support Group Meeting” – You are welcome to participate in Omega House’s Third Thursday Community Grief Support Group from 5 – 6 p.m. There will be options to participate in person or online/phone. We will be gathering in person at Omega House. We also provide a zoom link to be online or on the phone at this meeting from the comfort of your own space. • Dorcas Society/LWML of SS Peter & Paul Lutheran, 1010 Madeleine, Houghton, is holding its Spring Bazaar from noon – 3 p.m. Funds raised go toward missions, both near and far. Bake Sale, Tea Table, Craft/Used Books, Silent Auction.
