• Fresh fish fest. Fish Fry from 4-7 p.m. Houghton Pier. The fun happens port-side at Huron Street Waterfront Park at 4-7 p.m. The Mi Fresh Fish Fry is free and open to the public with food, cooking lessons, fishing activities, and more for the whole family.
July 19
• Gay Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxilliary Bazaar and Sales. Noon to 3 p.m. Gay Community Hall, 8878 Second Street, Gay. A free will donation lunch will be available. Come have lunch with friends and take home some deals.
July 20
• Garden tour. The City of Hancock Beautification Group’s Garden Tour takes place from from 1 – 5 p.m. Five gardens/one day. All proceeds benefit the Hancock beautification Group.
• The next Let’s Eat Community Meal is at 4 – 5:30 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Hancock. The menu is being decided.
July 26
• Hancock Central High School class of 1963 get together Saturday, 12:30 p.m. at Gino's Restaurant. Pizza, soft drinks and beer provided. All classmates are welcome. contact Carl Kukkonen, Kukkonen@cox.net, 626-695-9250.

•Houghton High School Alumni Association will host a Pancake Breakfast, with Silent Pie & gift basket auction,8:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the multi-purpose room of the Houghton High School. Menu includes, choice of traditional, blueberry & Shelby’s Finnish pancakes, Vollwerth’s sausage, fruit & beverage, $10 donation & tickets are available from the pancake breakfast alumni committee members, B & B Bar and at the door. The pie auction will feature pies baked by Alumnus representing class eras, and gift baskets with a variety of items
