• Lake Linden Farmers Market, 3 – 6 p.m. Lake Linden Park

August 30

• Gay Fire Dept. Bazaar, 1 – 3 p.m. Gay Community Center. The Gay Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will hold its final bazaar and sale of the summer. There will be a half-price sale, and clothing will be fill-a-bag for $5. It’s your final chance to bid on auction items. A Men’s tent sale will also be going on outside. Indulge in an ice cream float. Their usual free-will donation lunch will be available.

• Saturday Tori, 9 a.m. – noon, Quincy Green, Hancock

• Fish boil, 1-5 p.m. L&L Bar, Fifth Street, Calumet. The Calumet Village Fire Department will host its annual fish boil in the parking lot of the L and L Bar. $15 tickets will be available at the door, or can be purchased from any Calumet firefighter.

August 31

•Polka Dance, 5 – 8 p.m. South Range Eagles. The South Range Eagles Club hosts polka dances with live music each Sunday. All are welcome.

September 1

• Labor Day Picnic, noon – 4 p.m. L’Anse American Legion. The L’Anse American Legion will host a Labor Day picnic. Enjoy barbecued chicken, potatoes, additional sides and dessert for $10. There will also be raffles and a basket auction. Tickets are limited, and can be purchased in advance at the Legion. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door. Money raised will go toward relocating the Veterans Memorial from in front of the former VFW hall to the L’Anse waterfront.
