December 16

• Blood Drive 3 – 6 p.m. L’Anse Township Hall. The U.P. Regional Blood Center will hold a blood drive at the L’Anse Township Hall from 3 until 6. Walk-ins are welcome.

• Calumet Senior Class Play, CHS Senior Class Play, 7 p.m. Calumet Theatre. The Calumet High School Senior Class presents “Almost, Maine” at the Calumet Theatre, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door.

December 18

• Christmas Caroling in Calumet, 7 p.m. Calumet Public Library. Join a group of singers who will carol around Calumet. Meet at the side door to the Calumet Library, and dress appropriately.

December 19

• Copper Island Academy Christmas Program. 1 p.m. Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts. The Copper Island Academy will hold its kindergarten through 10th grade Christmas program at the Rozsa Center. $12 tickets are available through the Rozsa box office. events.mtu.edu/event/Copper-Island-Academy

December 20

• Grinch in Lake Linden 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. | US/Eastern, Little Gem Community Center. The Grinch will visit the Little Gem Community Center to pose for pictures. Kids can enjoy a craft, and the Lake Linden Fire Department will provide s’mores and hot chocolate.

• KNHP Open House, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Looking for something festive? The Keweenaw National Historical Park’s Calumet Visitor Center (98 5th St, Calumet) has something for you! Step into historical holiday cheer at the Holiday Open House. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in make-and-take holiday crafts inspired by 150 years of seasonal traditions. Three floors of interactive exhibits for all ages are open for exploration as well.
