• Baraga County Memorial Hospital Lunch and Learn, Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L’Anse
January 10
• Lantern Lit Snowshoe Walk, 6:30 – 8 p.m. (rescheduled for Dec. 31) L’Anse Township Trails. Snowshoe or walk through the lantern lit trails. Admission is free. Warm yourself near the bonfire and enjoy home hot chocolate and roast a marshmallow. You may want to bring snowshoes, Yaktrax, head lamp or flashlight. Sponsored by Baraga County Trails in Motion. • UP Wild Gathering, at 3 p.m. Calumet Township Park. Walk less than 400 yards to Sarah Green’s barn. The UP Wild Gatherings are opportunities to connect with God and each other within our natural world. Each Gathering has a leader who will guide the participants through readings and reflection. The Gatherings are appropriate for all ages, including families and children. Everyone is welcome, no religious affiliation is necessary.

• Let’s Eat Community Meal, St. Ann’s Church Baraga. The “Let’s Eat” community meal program offers a free dinner at St. Ann’s Church in Baraga. All are welcome.
January 12
• Blood Drive, 2 – 5 p.m. Chassell High School. The U.P. Regional Blood Center will hold a blood drive at Chassell High School. Walk-ins are welcome.

• MI-TRALE January Annual Meeting and Elections will be held at 7 p.m. (EST), in person at the Stannard Township Hall, 14927 State HWY M-28 East, Bruce Crossing. For virtual attendance, ZOOM is available, along with the strictly audio/phone method.
