March 28
• Copper Country 100 Snowmobile Race, 9 a.m. Valley View Quarry. The inaugural Copper Country 100 snowmobile races will begin at 9 a.m. near the Valley View Quarry on Green Acres Road. For details and registration information visit https://corpowersports.com/schedule/houghton/
• L’Anse Easter Egg Hunt. This year’s L’Anse Easter Egg Hunt will take place at the C.J. Sullivan Elementary School playground. Registration will be open from noon until 1:00. Children ages 0 to 5 will begin their hunt at 1:00. Kids ages 6 through 12 will start at 1:30. Organizers suggest you bring your own basket or bag.
March 29
• Visit with the Easter Bunny 1-3 p.m. Hop on over and visit with the Easter Bunny at the Quincy Franklin Hancock Township Fire Department. He will be available for pictures and will have goodie bags for all kids.
• MTU Workshop Brass Band Gospel Service, 3 p.m. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. MTU’s Workshop Brass Band will play gospel music in the New Orleans tradition at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, with a special message by Pastor Sarah Smith. All are welcome, at no charge.
March 30
• Hancock Hockey Open House. 5:30 – 7 p.m. HOCO 1500 Birch St. Hancock. Check out what’s happening with the Hancock High School Hockey program. Join us for a fun Open House and skate where you can hit the ice, locker room tours and more.
March 31
• The Chassell All School Reunion Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Chassell VFW building. All alumni are invited to attend. There will be the opportunity to join the meeting virtually. Call 906-523-4564 for more information. The next reunion is planned for July 12, 2026, in Chassell.
• Bells on the Bay Concert, 6 p.m. L’Anse Methodist Church. The Bells on the Bay Handbell Ensemble will perform at the L’Anse Methodist Church. A freewill offering will be taken to benefit Copper Country Mental Health.
