April 4

• Easter Egg Hunt, 11 a.m. Quincy Green, Hancock. Quincy Green will be transformed into a colorful sea of Easter eggs as families gather for one of the community’s favorite springtime traditions. Children will have the chance to search for eggs throughout the Green and enjoy a festive morning with friends and family.

• Easter Egg Hunt, 11 a.m. Lake Linden Park. The Easter Bunny is coming to Lake Linden! Join the Lake Linden Downtown Development Association for an Easter Egg Hunt in Village Park. Make sure to get your map to start the hunt. Kids can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny.

• Pancake Breakfast, 7 a.m. – noon, Calumet Township Fire Department 25880 Red Jacket Rd, Calumet. Calumet Township Fire and Rescue will host a pancake and French toast breakfast at the Fire Hall. Adults pay $10; children under age 10 eat free.

• Crafted Treasures Bazaar, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. old Big Bucks Bingo Hall, next to Ojibwa Casino, Baraga. Shop the Craft Vendors at Baraga’s Crafted Treasures Bazaar. Kids can have photos taken with the Easter Bunny. Basket raffles will benefit KBIC Tribal Social Services. Lunch will be available.

April 5

• Range Apostolic Lutheran Church Sunday Morning Worship. No Sunday School. Easter Brunch at 9:30 a.m. Worship at 10:45am with Holy Communion. Reverend Ernest Bylkas III, Pastor

• Houghton County Jail Committee Meeting, 4 p.m. Houghton County Courthouse. The Houghton County Jail Committee will meet in the Conference Room on the 5th floor of the Houghton County Courthouse. Anyone interested in the ongoing discussion about solutions to the jail problem is welcome. More information and remote attendance is available at https://www.facebook.com/events/1457751979062193/

• The Atlantic Mine Apostolic Lutheran Church will host visiting ministers from Finland at 6 p.m. April 7 in Atlantic Mine. The public is invited.

• Free Soup Supper – Atlantic Mine. 3-6 p.m. Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Atlantic Mine offers a free supper on the second Wednesday of each month. All are invited to enjoy soup, bread, and a piece of fruit. A vegan option is available.

•The Tapiola Apostolic Lutheran Church will host visiting ministers from Finland at 6 p.m. April 9 in Tapiola. The public is invited.

April 18

• 56th Annual Ed Clements Spaghetti Dinner from 5-7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 16 S. 6th St. L’Anse MI. Enjoy some spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, and desserts. There is also a wine pull, silent auction, raffle buckets, Jackpot Raffle tickets, and Scrip/RaiseRight gift cards. All proceeds benefit the SHS Home and School Association. Tickets are $15 for adults, $6 for children (age 5-12) and can be purchased in advance from the Sacred Heart School office or any SHS family.
