June 5

• First Friday. The Copper Country Associated Artists celebrates First Fridays with an open house from 6-8 p.m. June 5 at 117 5th St. Calumet. The public is invited to join them for a free art project. Come join them for a different art project each month.

• Lake Linden Farmers Market, 3 – 6 p.m. Lake Linden Park.

• Roller Skating at the Gipp. 6-9 p.m. 200 Isle Royale st. Laurium. The George Gipp Arena will be open for roller skating and roller blading every Friday night this summer from 6-9 pm. Admission is $2/per skater. All ages are welcome! Bring your own gear – rental skates are not available. Wearing protective gear is encouraged. Call the Village Hall at 906-337-1600 with any questions.

June 6

• Pancake Breakfast, 8 – 11 a.m. Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, Hancock. Please join LBFE on Saturday, June 6th from 8am to 11am for our annual Pancake Breakfast and Open House. $10.00 and kids age 7 and under eat for free.

• Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale, 8 a.m. – noon, Range Lounge, South Range. Sponsored by VFW Post 6165. Blueberry or plain pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee and juice. $10.

• Farm on the Town 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sunflower Books and Coffee, Hancock. Copper Country Farm Bureau will hold Farm on the Town. There will be live farm animals, a Young Farm Hands activity, an opportunity to plant a flower, a photo booth, a maple syrup and honey bee display, and more. Free to all and open to all ages.

• L’Anse Farmers Market 9 a.m. – noon, Meadowbrook Park, L’Anse. The weekly L’Anse Farmers Market features fresh local produce and baked goods at the pavilion at Meadowbrook Park.

• Hancock Tori 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Quincy Green, Hancock.

• Keweenaw Pridefest, 1 – 5 p.m. Calumet Colosseum. There will be live music, food trucks, a clothing swap, free face painting, free balloon art, community organization tabling, a photo booth, a stamp rally, a chill zone, and community art project inspired by the AIDS Memorial Quilt. June 7

• Ukraine Sunrise Service, 6:05 a.m. Chassell Centennial Park. Yoopers for Ukraine will celebrate the beginning of a new week of work and hope for Ukraine with a simple sunrise service at the Chassell Centennial Park Pavilion. All supporters of Ukraine are welcome.
