• Feeding America Food Pantry, 11 a.m. Ontonagon Fire Hall. The Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry will set up at the Ontonagon Fire Hall, with drive-through distribution beginning at 11 a.m. open to all households in Ontonagon County on a first-come, first-served basis. Some basic information will be collected, but you do not need to bring proof of income.

• Calumet Theatre Summer Concert, 7:30 p.m. The Calumet Theatre’s Summer Concert Series presents the eclectic sounds of Keweenaw Brewgrass. There is no charge, but donations to the performers are appreciated.

• Keweenaw County Historical Society Program, 7 p.m. Keweenaw National Historical Park Visitor Center, 5th St. Calumet. “Copper and Courage: Keweenaw County in the Civil War.” KNHP Ranger Lynette Webber reviews Keweenaw County’s links to the Civil War, including how one early mine agent/former Copper Harbor resident later was suspected as a mastermind behind the Lincoln assassination.

August 6

• Downtown Houghton Concert Series, 7 p.m. Ray Kestner Waterfront Park. Tonight, enjoy classic rock from Rewind. There is no charge. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Kids can play at Chutes and Ladders nearby.

• Chassell Heritage Center Program, 7 p.m. Tonight, “Birding in the Keweenaw.” Free admission, Chassell Heritage Center 42373 Hancock St. Chassell

• ‘Adventures at Eagle Harbor Light Station,’ a Keweenaw County Historical Society program, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Eagle Harbor Light Station. • White Pine Mine Reunion, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Registration from 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., at White Pine American Legion. BBQ, Hot dogs and desserts. Side dishes are always appreciated. Call Jim “Cookie” Cook for more information, 715-551-0887.

• UP Wild Wilderness Walk, 7 p.m. Gardeners Creek Nature Trail (Gather at the Calumet Waterworks parking lot). The Wilderness Walks are opportunities to connect with God and each other in an outdoor natural setting. Each walk has a leader who will guide the walk and stop along the way for readings and reflection. The walks are appropriate for all ages, including families and children. No religious affiliation is necessary. Everyone is welcome,

• Omega House Summer Concert, 7 p.m. Saints Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Houghton. This annual tradition features an exceptional group of local musicians who generously donate their talents in support of Omega House. The evening will include a delightful blend of jazz, light opera, folk, and popular music, offering something for everyone to enjoy. Admission is a suggested $10 donation
