Baraga County man faces federal charges
MARQUETTE — A Baraga County man faces federal charges for allegedly assaulting a Keweenaw Bay Indian Community officer.
David LeClaire was indicted Wednesday for allegedly using his automobile to assault and resist a Keweenaw Bay Indian Community officer while she was performing her duties, according to Western District of Michigan court documents.
If convicted, LeClaire could face up to 20 years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine.
