HIRVONEN HALL HEIST
Hancock police seek suspects
HANCOCK — Hancock police are looking to identify two people believed to have stolen from several businesses inside Hirvonen Hall Friday morning.
The stolen items were enough to constitute a felony, police said in a Facebook post Friday afternoon.
Surveillance footage near a stairwell taken shortly after 2 a.m. Friday showed two males ripping a board off the wall.
The building was owned by Finlandia University prior to its closure last year. Businesses continue to operate in the building.
The full video can be seen at Hancock Police Department’s Facebook page. As the Facebook page is not always monitored, the department asks people with information on the suspects to call (906) 482-3102.
