CHASSELL — A fire resulted in no injuries but destroyed a garage in Chassell Monday morning.

The fire was reported about 11:30 a.m., said Curt Judson, chief of Chassell Volunteer Fire & Rescue.

It started while the house’s owner was working on a snowmobile in the garage, Judson said. He was not injured in the fire.

The garage was gutted in the fire, while a truck in the garage was also destroyed.

The garage was set off from the house nearby, which was not affected by the fire.
