The Michigan State Police Negaunee Regional Communication Center is experiencing a major 911 outage in the Upper Peninsula. If you reside in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, Ontonagon, and/or Schoolcraft Counties and are unable to dial 911, please dial 866-411-0018 for any emergency need. If you reside in a county not listed, contact your local non-emergency dispatch number.

There was an upgrade to the 911 system that caused a technical issue, crews are working to resolve the issue at this time. There is no time frame on when this will be reolved.

The MSP will put out an updated release wen all systems are back and running properly.
