Calumet and Munising compete in High School Bowl

MARQUETTE – On Mar. 14, the Calumet Copper Kings played the Munising Mustangs in the quarter final round of High School Bowl and won by a score of 320-90. Forty schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 42 years on the air. Calumet will advance to the semi-finals when they play Superior Central in Game 37, scheduled to air on Mar. 28. Running from Nov. through the championship game in Apr., the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m. Find more information on the 2019-2020 tournament at wnmutv.nmu.edu.
