MARQUETTE – The Houghton Gremlins played the Sault Ste. Marie Blue Devils in the semi-finals of High School Bowl and won by a score of 400-140. Forty schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 42 years on the air. Houghton will advance to the finals when they play in the championship game, scheduled to air on Apr 4. Running from November through the championship game in Apr, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m. Find more information on the 2019-2020 tournament at wnmutv.nmu.edu.
