Local scouting council invites public to join them for another at-home campout
As the state of Michigan continue to stay at home and stay safe, The Bay-Lakes Council is pleased to invite the general public to join Scouts and Families from across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Eastern Wisconsin and for an @ HOME Campout.
Taking Part is Simple:
— Log onto www.baylakesbsa.org/scouting-at-home/ to check out the details.
— On Friday, May 1, build your best Backyard Campsite and join us for a 30 minute campfire program on www.facebook.com/BayLakesCouncil at 7:30 p.m. Eastern/6:30 p.m. Central Time.
— Consider making the whole weekend a backyard camping trip. On Saturday, May 2, the National Council, Boy Scouts of America will offer additional program opportunities online including some famous people stopping by. Check out our Scouting @ Home website early and often for more details: www.baylakesbsa.org/scouting-at-home/
— If you aren’t equipped to handle backyard camping, just build a blanket tent in your living room and join us as well! Don’t forget to make the weekend your own by grilling out, making S’mores, watching the National Camp-in on their Facebook Page on May 2, www.facebook.com/theboyscoutsofamerica, playing lawn games, and checking out the night sky.

Those utilizing the website resources need not be registered in the Bay-Lakes Council, or Boy Scouts of America.
