Walk With Ease workshop available online for free through UPCAP

ESCANABA — Whether you need relief from arthritis pain or just want to be more active to improve your overall health, Upper Peninsula Commission for Area Progress (UPCAP) is offering the Arthritis Foundation’s Walk With Ease program.

If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk With Ease. This is a self-guided walking program with six weeks of online class support to help participants stay motivated and build confidence, while learning to safely increase physical activity.

Online classes will be on Tuesdays, 10 to 11 a.m., July 28 through Sept. 1. To register, visit www.upcap.org or call 2-1-1 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for assistance.

There is no charge for this online class. You must have a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet connection and a web browser to participate.

Class size is limited. Registration is required by July 19.
