Gina Hoffman returns to her U.P. roots as Director of Nursing at Aspirus Health

UPPER PENINSULA. – Aspirus Health is pleased to announce Gina Hoffman, RN, MSN, has returned to her Upper Peninsula roots as its new Director of Nursing. In this role, Hoffman is responsible for oversight of daily operations of the nursing units at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital.

Hoffman was born and raised in Lake Linden-Hubbell and brings several years of experience in nursing, quality operations and management to Aspirus. Most recently, she served as Chief Clinic Officer of Cobalt Rehabilitation Hospital in El Paso, Texas.

“I believe Gina will provide great leadership as Aspirus Health continues to grow,” said Christine Harff, Upper Peninsula Regional President. “I’m thrilled Gina has chosen to join our team and help provide the best care to the communities we serve.”

Hoffman, a graduate of Lake Linden-Hubbell School, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University in Marquette and her Master of Science in Nursing – with a Leadership and Management emphasis – from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah.

“I’m so happy to be back in the beautiful Copper Country,” Hoffman said. “I’m looking forward to providing care and giving back to the community that taught me so much.”

Hoffman looks forward to jumping into her new role with Aspirus Health and developing relationships.
