L’ANSE — On Friday, Oct. 1, the Baraga County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual Membership Mixer starting at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Ojibwa Resort in Baraga.

Coffee, soft drinks, and hors d’oeuvres will be provided by the Chamber and a cash bar will be available. The Ojibwa Casino will be providing complimentary wine glasses and casino free play. Activities include a silent auction, a 50-50 raffle, and a brown bag auction. Attendees are encouraged to bring something valued at $20 or more and secure it in a brown (or other) bag for the auction. Proceeds from this year’s brown bag auction support the L’Anse Masonic Lodge scholarship fund. Members, prospective members, interested parties, and friends are encouraged to take part in this entertaining social event. There is no fee to attend.
