As we enter the spooky season, why not celebrate with a cemetery tour? The Keweenaw Green Burial Alliance is sponsoring its third annual cemetery tour on Saturday, Sept. 21. This year, the tour will visit the historic Kargi Cemetery in Portage Township and offer an optional tour of the nearby Hanka Homestead Finnish Museum. MARQUETTE — U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan Mark Totten today announced that Robert Lee Reynolds, 28, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Ironwood, Michigan, was sentenced for possessing a stolen firearm.
