Finlandia University has been named one of the 2020 Best Online Colleges in Michigan by SR Education Group. The rankings were based on a combination of manually researched tuition, accreditation and PayScale salary data. Finlandia currently has one online program, the online RN-BSN program, which was ranked number 17 in the list of Best Online Michigan Colleges.

“Finlandia’s online RN-BSN program is designed to meet the needs of the working RN,” Vice President for Academic Affairs Fredi de Yampert said. “We know there are numerous options for those RNs choosing to return to school for their bachelor’s degree. Our online program offers students such options as 8-week or 16-week courses, depending on their personal and work schedules, for one set tuition price.

“Our tuition is competitive in the market place in that the program can be completed in as few as three semesters, and all completed within one calendar year. Students who take longer than the three semesters are charged the same tuition price, so taking a little longer does not cost more.”

In addition to the low tuition cost, graduates of FinnU’s online RN-BSN program see a median salary of $43,600. This, and FinnU’s accreditation of the program, contributed to the top ranking by SR Education Group.

The 2020 Best Online Colleges in Michigan ranking is the fourth award Finlandia’s online RN-BSN program has earned in three years. Other accolades include being ranked as one of the 2017 Most Affordable Degree Programs by Best Degree Programs, a 2019 Most Affordable Online Colleges by SR Education Group and a 2019 Top Ranked Online RN to BSN Programs by Registered Nursing.org.
