William Joseph Pelto, Jr.

MOHAWK – William Joseph Pelto, Jr., 53, of Mohawk, passed away at UP Health System-Marquette on December 2, 2016.

He was born on September 14, 1963, a son to William Joseph Pelto Sr. and Jane J. Pelto. He will be missed by all.

William (Bill) loved spending time with his family at their summer cottage, collecting baseball cards, hiking in the woods and watching any John Wayne westerns. He loved to laugh, especially when his CNA’s, Angela and Missy teased him.   

Preceding him in death were his sisters, Lisa Jane Kinnunen and Lori Anne Pelto.

Surviving are his parents, William and Jane; nieces, Nichole and Ashley Kinnunen; nephew, Brandon Pelto;  great-niece, Sophia Kinnunen; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In the spring of 2017 there will be a memorial graveside service held at the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek.
