Carol (Lindquist) McGeorge
CLARE — Carol (Lindquist) McGeorge, 78, of Clare, Michigan, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, in Lansing, after a brief illness.
She was born January 16, 1940, to the late Eino Lindquist and Gladys (Kipina) Jarvey.
She married the late Wilbert McGeorge on December 12, 1959.
Surviving are her children, Steven, Ruth, Dennis, Mary, Lynda and Jon; stepdaughter, Ellen (Dave) Hosking; Carol’s siblings, Martha (Richard) Gay, Charles Lindquist, Donald Jarvey, Katherine Nelson; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, spouse and brother, John Jarvey.
Carol was a 1957 graduate of Calumet High School.
She loved marching bands, playing musical instruments and her family. Her special gift was the ability to show interest in a person’s life and make them feel loved as an individual.
There are no funeral plans at this time.
