Gloria F. Juusola

She was born February 24, 1927, in Highland Park, Michigan, to Arvid and Juliana (Sallinen) Dahlman.

On June 30, 1945, she married Hubert C. Juusola in Tapiola, and he preceded her in death on July 6, 2003.

Gloria had worked 21 years as a nurse’s aide at Knollview and Brookhaven prior to retiring in 1984. She enjoyed embroidery work, bowling, playing Bingo, having social time with friends and she loved to cook. Gloria was genuinely a compassionate and caring person.

Surviving are her five children, Wanda (Tim) Freye of Fruitport, Keith (Tammy) Juusola and Karl (Connie) Juusola both of Muskegon, Kay (John) Hansen of Norton Shores and Jean (Paul) Rice of Muskegon; 13 grandchildren; many great- grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Erickson of Battle Creek and Jean Keranen of Pelkie, Michigan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Wayne Juusola, in 1977; grandsons, Chad Osborn and Steve Juusola in 2016; and brother, Curtis Dahlman.

The services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Pastor Bobby D. Whitlock officiating.

The visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Egelston Township Cemetery.
