Dale K. Snell

CHASSELL — Dale K. Snell, 66, a resident of Chassell, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019, in Mosinee, Wisconsin, following a lengthy battle with cancer, with his family by his side.

He was born on May 1, 1953, in Baltic, a son of the late Ardell and Vera (Kaurala) Snell. Dale was a graduate of Jeffers High School with the Class of 1972.

Mr. Snell was a veteran, having served in with the United States Army.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, having cookouts, sports and metal detecting. He was a loving father to his two sons and in more recent times he was deeply grateful to have spent time with his daughter and her children.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, Delbert Snell; and his sisters, Shirley Foster and Kristine Ruotsi.

Surviving are his sons, Troy (Kathy) Snell of Mosinee, Wisconsin, and Brandon Snell of Chassell; his daughter, Jennifer (Will) Craig; his brothers; David Snell of Iron Mountain, Dan Snell of Covington, Dennis Snell of Alston, Duane (Gina) Snell of Greer, South Carolina; his grandchildren, Tailor, Riley, Ethan, Gabe and Abbey; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thanks to his dear friends, Dave and Chris, for all of their help they offered Dale through his hard time. Dale wanted to send a sincere thank you to all of the Aspirus staff including Dr. Peterson. His family would like to thank the amazing hospice staff.

Graveside services for Dale will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the Veterans Sections of Forest Hill Cemetery of Houghton, with Rev. Soren Schmidt to officiate.
