Robert Lang
LAKE LINDEN — Robert J. Lang, 89, of Lake Linden, passed away on January 25, 2021, at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, due to complications from COVID-19.
Robert was born October 26, 1931, in Detroit, a son of Nathan and Bernice (Graves) Lang. He owned and operated the Maple Leaf near Lake Linden.
In 1994, Robert was joined in marriage with the “love of his life” Lillian (Pini). They made their home in Lake Linden. “Lil” passed away just a few days before, on January 19, 2021.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Kenny.
He is survived by his children, Mike (Rose) Lang of Texas and Brinda (Vernon) Dukart of Lake Linden, Glenn (Cindy) Dupuis of Visalia, California, Gary (Tammie) Dupuis of Calumet, Sherri Juntikka of New Berlin, Wisconsin, Tami (Lionel) Dupuis-Michaud of Verbier, Switzerland; grandchildren, Robert (Rachel), Callie and Leif Dukart, Jennifer (Andy), Reagan and Davis Moyle, Mandy and Kendra Lang, Cody Juntikka, Jayme (Blake), Piper and Jet Slayton, Alyssa, Samantha and Tyler Dupuis, Sebastien and Amelie Michaud, Amie (Mark), Hayes and August Austin; along with numerous other loving relatives.
A celebration of life will be held later this summer if viable. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
